The force that through the green fuse drives the flower - Dylan Thomas
My work has usually been informed by landscape. From a starting point of observation, sketching, and deep looking, I set out to paint aspects of my responses to, or understanding of, landscape. With my latest work the terrain is more interior than exterior; more abstract and less representational. I explore ideas of regeneration; the cycle of life and the myths we build to understand it.
