Brian Lalor, artist and writer has exhibited his etchings internationally and has had over twenty-five solo exhibitions, in Boston, Charlotte N.C., Cork, Dublin, London, Manchester, Jerusalem, Kilkenny, Montgomery, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Zurich, as well as having his work included in the collections of many public institutions: Chester Beatty Library, Cork VEC, Crawford Art Gallery, Department of Foreign Affairs, National Gallery of Ireland, National Library of Ireland, Office of Public Works, University College Cork.UCC. Zuckerman Museum of Art, Georgia; Academy of Art University, San Francisco
Corporate collection with examples of his work include; Dublin Docklands Developement Authority, Dublin Port, Eli Lilly, Esso Corporation, Irish Times, Swiss Re.
More recent group exhibitions; Morley Gallery, London 2013; Field of Vision, Glucksman Gallery, Cork, 2011; Europe House, London, 2011; Isle d'Hiver, Paris, 2009; Where Borders Meet, Debica, Poland, 2009. Guest artist, Royal Hibernian Academy, 2009. His most recent solo exhibition was a retrospective 'Voussoir, prints 1980-2010' Phenomena, Blue House Gallery, 2014.
Author of publications on art history, architecture, travel and autobiography, he was recipient of, among other awards, the Association of American University Presses Award for a work of reference in the humanities and the International Swift Society Award for Juvenalian Satire.
