Jean Bardon is an artist/printmaker at Graphic Studio Dublin, where she has been a member since 1992. She currently lives in Dublin.
Jean’s work is influenced by the formality of Botanical Art, while also reflecting her interest in the simplicity of line, form and decorative quality of Asian Art.
She has been a regular exhibitor at the RHA Annual Exhibition for over 20 years, receiving the Adams Auctioneer’s Award in 2016. She has taken part in exhibitions at the National Gallery of Ireland, the Chester Beatty Library and the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris. Her etching ‘Annunciation Lilies’ featured in the 2014 NGI Diary. Her most recent exhibition was a two person show with Louise Leonard at Graphic Studio Gallery, Dublin in late 2014. Her work is included in many collections including those of the National Gallery and the Chester Beatty Library.
